Packing a mighty 120 watts per channel, there’s little that troubles the SA30. From the largest rooms to the least efficient speakers, the SA30 always has the power to impress. Switch to 4 ohm speakers and the power doubles to a window-rattling 220 watts per channel. As well as high volume, the power also gives large scale music the dynamics it deserves – making you feel more like you’re ‘there’ at the concert.

Class-G for the best of all worlds
Arcam’s pioneering Class-G amplifier technology gives the SA30 the best possible sound in all circumstances. The first quarter of its power is delivered in pure Class-A. Class-A is renowned for a rich, smooth sound that makes instruments and vocals sound incredibly life-like. Once you go beyond this point, efficient digital amplification kicks in – delivering plenty of power without the huge reserves of power and inefficiency that Pure Class-A all the way would demand. Dirac Live for Arcam gives you the very best sound in your room
For the very best sound in your room, Arcam includes a powerful room correcting technology from Dirac Research. This uses a microphone and dedicated software to take multiple readings around your room and feed the information back to the amplifier for a completely bespoke response (professional set-up recommended).

Stream with GoogleCast, AirPlay 2 and UPnP
Connect to your network via Ethernet or wi-fi and you get access to a wide range of networking features. GoogleCast gives you access to a wide range of streaming music services, Internet Radio stations and podcasts. If you prefer to stream within the Apple medium, AirPlay 2 is also standard and the perfect choice for streaming music from your iPhone and iPad. UPnP (Universal Plug n’ Play) is ideal for streaming from other devices connected to your network – such as NAS (Network Attached Storage) drives.

Made for High-Resolution music – including support for MQA and Roon
As well as offering the dynamic range to make the most of Hi-Res music, the SA30 also supports many associated formats. MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) – as used by Tidal Masters – is compatible. Roon Endpoint status means it’s compatible with the award-winning music player – including Hi-Res files.

Digital inputs with ESS DAC for superior sound quality
While Class-G tech handles the amplifier side of the business, a superior quality ESS Sabre 9038K2M DAC (Digital to Analogue Convertor) makes the most of your digital sources. By going direct and using the Arcam’s built-in DAC, you get superb clarity and a much more ‘open’ sound with strong dynamics. Two coaxial and two optical digital inputs let you connect up to four sources – perfect for your games console, CD, DVD, DAB tuner and more.

HDMI with ARC
Featuring an HDMI socket with ARC (Audio Return Channel), the SA30 also gets the best from your TV sound.

Fantastic with vinyl
Making this the ideal all-rounder, the SA30 also comes with a top-quality phonostage. This is designed to the highest standards, giving you the best sound from your turntable. Unlike most built-in phonostages, the SA30’s is compatible with both MM (Moving Magnet) and MC (Moving Coil) cartridges.

Wide range of other inputs, including USB
This flexible amp continues its impressive spec with three RCA phono inputs and a front-mounted 3.5mm input that’s ideal for an MP3 player or other portable. Around the back, there’s a USB – perfect for connecting a USB media device and listening to stored files.
